Making Menus in Durango
Montanya Distillers Oro Rum gets a mention in a Durango Herald article about a Santa Fe Atapiño liqueur making a splash in the Durango area.
Lucas Hess, assistant general manager of El Moro Spirits and Tavern in Durango, uses Montanya Distillers Exclusiva rum in a Hemingway daiquiri (a style preferred by Ernest Hemingway, with no sugar or simple syrup and twice the liquor). He uses other Colorado ingredients such as Elevation 5003’s Falernum liqueur.
