RECIPE OF THE WEEK

Missionary's Downfall

We love the name AND the cocktail!

10 leaves fresh mint
1/2 ring of peeled pineapple cut 1/2-inch thick, core removed
2 ounces Montanya Platino rum, more as desired!
1 ounce fresh lime juice
1/2 ounce peach liqueur, (we prefer Leopold Brothers)
1 tablespoon honey syrup
Pineapple juice, if necessary to sweeten to taste.

Combine all ingredients in a blender with about 1 1/2 cups ice.
Purée until smooth. If too thick, add a little pineapple juice or extra rum, to taste.
It should look like a slushy mint pesto. Pour into a chilled cocktail glass or goblet, and serve with a straw snipped to rise 2 to 3 inches above rim of glass.

Note: To make honey syrup, combine equal measures of honey and water, and stir well.

UPCOMING MUSIC AT MONTANYA!

INCREDIBLE UPCOMING MUSIC AT MONTANYA IN CB!

Kicking off on Fat Tuesday (Feb 21st) with the BOURBON BOTTLE BLUES BAND celebrating Mardi Gras after the parade from 6-8:30pm.

On March 9th, join us for BRUCE HAYES with the New Ragged Mountain Ramblers (string band) from 4:30-7:30pm.

Montanya will sponsor JAMES AND THE DEVIL kicking off 10pm at the Eldo on March 23rd with rum drink specials all night.

Then on March 24th, CHERRY ROYALE, a funk/R&B/Blues band from Atlanta from 7-10pm!

Come celebrate some apres ski rhythms with Montanya Distillers!

Cherry Royale will be at the Lobar instead, so they can play later and offer revelers more options of beverages! Still a great CB show!
